ABOUT ME
I graduated from Brigham Young University's News Media track, where I learned how to use various multimedia aspects in my stories. I also enrolled in the editing minor program and am proficient in Chicago. I graduated in June 2017. I hope to work with a newspaper or a magazine company so I can apply both my journalistic and editing skills in the work field.
I was an intern with Deseret News National from January until April 2017 where I wrote solutions-based stories and assisted reporters with their research. I was a senior reporter for The Daily Universe and Capital West News, where I covered the 2016 Utah Legislature as part of my beat. I have written stories on bills, profiles on senators, and have covered breaking news stories such as the Ted Cruz rally held in Draper, UT.
